🛠️ Job Description

UNOCHA Mozambique is looking for a reliable and experienced Driver to provide safe and efficient transport for staff and goods, supporting its peacebuilding and humanitarian coordination work in Pemba.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Drive UN vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel and goods.
• Ensure proper day-to-day maintenance of the vehicle, including checking oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc.
• Log all official trips, daily mileage, fuel consumption, oil changes, etc.
• Ensure compliance with UNDP safety and security standards.
• Assist with basic office tasks when not driving.

📌 Requirements

• Completed High School (12th grade or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
• Valid Mozambican driver’s license.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken).
• Knowledge of local languages such as Kiswahili, Makua, Mwani, or Makonde is an advantage.
